I invite you to step into my nature-inspired art studio, where each piece is created with love. I want to foster a sense of serenity in your heart and stoke that deep connection between you and the natural world. I know there is magic out there to be seen. The trees want to hug you back. The flowers love your compliments and return the love with their beautiful perfume. The birds sing ancient songs for you each morning. The only thing you have to do is stop. Be still. Listen. My art is my way of showing you…

  • I am very much an introvert. I see this as a wonderful thing.  How else could I spend so much time dreaming about paintings and making them? :) 

  • I lost all of my hearing in my right ear when I was 21.  This was a scary time, but I learned how to be strong, how to persevere, and how focusing on the beauty in life will only strengthen you. 

  • I am a musician and songwriter. I play the piano, guitar, bass guitar, and sing.  I toured the US with my band (back in the early 2000s) and recently released a new EP at the beginning of 2024. You can learn all about my music here​. 

  • I love to read books about nature (of course!) and also how to be more present and stay connected to spirit. 

  • I am a coffee lover and matcha latte addict! I also eat a plant-based diet and LOVE to cook..and bake up some tasty vegan goodies.

  • ​I have been married to my sweetheart for over 20 years.

  • I have 4 kitties that I rescued from the streets. They are my babies. ​I love them SO. MUCH. 

  • I love to go hiking with my husband and my favorite place to visit is the Blue Ridge Mountains. I hope to call them my home one day.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I gather inspiration from all the intricate and delicate plants and mysterious animals and insects that I see when enjoying the forest, the mountains, and the sea. Nature simply enchants me. Putting these feelings onto canvas with a brush and a variety of vibrant colors allows me to channel the loving and peaceful vibe that is being offered, and I find so much joy in sharing that with you. Many times when I am painting, I become connected to the very essence of the subject matter and feel a mingling with their spirit. As I paint them, they teach me to look at them more deeply, keenly, and with pure adoration. I allow this feeling to carry my hand and inspire my color choices. May the mystery and beauty of Nature bring you so much love and peace. xo
