Suspended in the Soul of Spring
It was a beautiful Spring Day when I set out to create this piece. Inspired by all of the colors bursting into life, I could not resist the opportunity to translate my perception into a dreamy floral scene. This piece is about light, darkness, and new beginnings. Flowers always cheer me up, and Spring brings the awakenging of that which has been sleeiping beneath the layers of the earth. A metaphor for our own spirit.
Mixed Media on stretched canvas - ink, acrylic, india ink, gold foil, alcohol ink, pastels, pen.
30 x 24 x 1.5
UV sealed
