This painting is dedicated to my ancient tree friends that now live on in the Otherworld.
I am so often drawn to the great oak trees. There is a place I like to go and sit. To escape the busyness of life and to find my center. There is a grove of oaks that form a circle. Sitting in the center quietly with a cup of tea brings balance each time. Tuning out the clutter of the world, and tuning into the hum of the trees, birds, and sky brings me back to my center each time. In this opened awareness, I can hear the whispers of the calling. The inspiration can find me when I am open.
