"Leaf Spirit" Handmade Dreamcatcher
Dreamcatcher with Light Blue, Clear Quartz, Natural dyed hemp yarn, and Earth Clay Hand Sculpted Leaves – A Nature-Inspired Keepsake. Vegan.
I named this piece "Leaf Spirit" because, like a leaf dancing on the wind, it carries a gentle, flowing energy—a reminder of the beauty in letting go and embracing the rhythm of life.
I used a Clear Quartz Crystal for the centerpiece of this Crescent Moon dreamcatcher. It hangs beautifully in the center of the piece.
Clear Quartz is known as the "master healer," it symbolizes clarity of thought, intention, and energy. It's often used for clearing negativity and amplifying intentions. I hand wrapped /knotted this crystal using waxed hemp twine.
I incorporated wooden beads + hand stamped fabrics to add some natural magic.
The light blue threads are made of old silk dresses that were discarded. These up-cycled ribbons add a soft airy element, while the clear quartz crystals amplify peaceful energy, bringing clarity and balance to any space.
The leaf details symbolize renewal and growth. I made these leaves out old cloth napkins, and the large centerpiece leaf is made from natural earth clay that I sculpted in my studio. It includes some dried flower petals — leftover scraps from my collage work.
All of the dreamcatchers I make are unique works of art. Whether it hangs in a quiet corner or becomes part of someone’s bedtime ritual, my hope is that this dreamcatcher invites a sense of calm and wonder.
