An ancient weeping willow greets the full moon with love, dripping strands of colors reflected in the moonlight.
This was so much fun to create. The scene just unfolded from my spirit as I feel a deep connection with our tree friends. Once completed, I was left wishing I could snuggle up against the old trunk and feel the moonbeams hit my skin through the beautiful swaying branches.
I added lots of line work and touches of gold throughout the canopy of the tree.
May this work remind you to sit under an old tree once in awhile and feel the healing presence of it’s spirit.
